Hungerford | Berkshire

Project Scope: Conversion of historical police station

Project Industry: Extension/Renovation, Residential

A fine example of an impeccably restored Victorian police station, The Old Police House in Hungerford has been sympathetically divided into four luxury apartments and a separate detached home by bespoke residential development specialists Blue Tongue Construction.

The police station was originally built in 1864, paying tribute to its construction with decorative blue brick detailing, and remained in use until 2017.

The conversion and extension of this historical building is impeccably completed by carrying through the flemish bond brickwork and decorative dentil course details, with a bespoke blend of imperial-sized Heritage Soft Orange and Soft Red Multi handmade bricks to provide a seamless match.
