Summary
Pre War Common are red to orange colour, hydraulically pressed bricks with pale banding and dark overburns.
These machine made bricks were widely used throughout North West England during the 19th and 20th centuries, and have since been used further afield, so are suited to most areas.
Available in metric size and manufactured to BS EN 771-1 standards.
Please Note: Pre War Common is F1 classified for durability against freeze thaw and is therefore unsuitable for use in the construction of garden and retaining walls.
